Walkthrough for
Lightbringer
You will need more Rank Points to acquire this mission; turning in five stacks of crystals allows activation.
Talk to a San d'Oria Mission Starter for a cut-scene to start the mission.
Go to Chateau d'Oraguille and select the
Great Hall
door for a cut-scene.
Talk to Rahal in the Royal Knights' Quarters, to receive further instructions and the
Crystal Dowser
key item.
Get a Prelate Key...
Go through the first, second, and forth doors in the hall, into the small rooms, and select multiple ??? there. You will get three copies of the
Piece of a Broken Key
key item from them. After you have all three copies, select the second door to spawn two Doll NMs, Nio-Hum and Nio-A. Both have around 6500HP, do regular Doll attacks, and cannot be slept. Defeat the two NMs and select the second door again for a cut-scene.
Return to San d'Oria, go to Chateau d'Oraguille and select the
Great Hall
door for a cut-scene that completes the mission, providing Rank 9 and 80000 gil.

Notorious Monster (Temple of Uggalepih):
Remember not to click the door (???) until the party is prepared to fight.

*Suggested Strategy* Nio-Hum is stronger than Nio-A. Clear the room of all the tonberries to avoid aggro during the fight. Have one tank (RDM, PLD, NIN will do) tank Nio-A while the rest of the party attacks Nio-Hum with hopefully a shadow tank. Once Nio-Hum is down Nio-A can be killed with ease.
