a note about Troubadour
while yes it does not double the effect of ballad, sorry to say.... it DOES double effects of DEBUFFS, as noone thought to try these, and started to cry about it not doubling ballad and thinking it really sucks take a second to think..... Therordy, Elegy, lullaby so on double is pretty damm good, espically in dynamis, God / HNM fights so on, so please stop crying just becasue it does not double ballad..... who cares brd is not only good for ballad, we have many many other usefull things out there, espically with the new "blm nerf" this is one way to combat it......

Thanks for the feedback, everyone.
The Compilation of Info has been updated again; the complete game data on all the new abilities/spells/traits from merits is now listed. There's a new topic to discuss all that as well, the
Merit Points Abilities
topic.
Some other updates were put in, including recipe updates and the starting NPC sales of new items.

"Extra Protectra V Info: The base defense provided by Protectra V is 300, 5 more than Protect/Protectra IV; with full merits, it gives 9 more defense than Protect/Protectra IV."
You can't be serious.. Oo
Protect 4 gives +55 Def.
+300 Def would DOUBLE a lot of lvl-75's defense!
Someone could clear this up, please?

Good catch there; that did have the incorrect base Defense listed, which has been fixed.
The Compilation of Info was updated with more merit info, a lot of recipes, and some more NPC sales.

Hm... Anyone would wana take a wild guess about the chocobo eggs ?
As Describe we have 5 differnt warmth.
Bit , Faintly , Slightly , Little , Somewhat
And we have 5 different species of chocobo
Destrier , Courser , Palfrey , Jennet , Rounsey.
Palfrey and Rounsey are known to withstand heat and long travelling.

Troll Engraver dropped the PUP Testimony for me as well so I think it's a safe bet to say that all the PUP mobs drop them

Hilltroll Mirror Guard in Halvung protects an Archaic Mirror with a Woodtroll Mirror Guard. The Hilltroll is a RDM and with Sanction (Astral Candescence still hasn't been lost on Unicorn) and my XP ring on with a 75RDM/BLM and me (75THF/NIN), I got 330 XP from it. Not sure what level that puts it at though.
The Woodtroll Mirror Guard is a DRK and gave me 378 under the same conditions. My advice is be prepared for long, tough fights if you try to duo them like that, or bring a bigger group to clear mirrors lol

Gardening recipes involving Tree Cuttings to make Tree Saplings have been changed to include shell bugs through most of the recipes. I don't specific information due to the fact that I don't personally garden those recipes, but a friend of mine and several forum posters on other sites have confirmed as much. I will post more info if it become available. Until then, FYI.

Jody's Acid drops off Ameretat's in Wajaom Woodlands. Must be a little rare because with Treasure Hunter 3, out of 20 kills, I only got 1 to drop (or it won't drop if you already have it in your inventory, who knows)... and that was on the very first kill.
