This is for generic changes from the patch that went live July 19. New item drops, tweaks and changes to Ballista, new NPCs and NPC sales, along with generic item additions and changes. In short, if it doesn't fit in the other stickied topics, it can go here.

There are other stickied topics on this board for: New Recipes, New Quests (individual topics for each new specific quest), New Recipes, New NM/BCNMs, Battle Changes, and Ranged Attack Changes. Please use the appropriate topics to comment on those areas.

I assume that X's Knife, Y's Scythe and Z's Trident are drops from the Mithran Sin Hunter rematch quest (ENM?).

It looks like they're going to be actual quests this time, not the odd ENM/BCNM setup like Ouryu. Check out the July 2005 FFXI Patch Compilation of Info for the basic quest lists; they're in there.
