Client: Ayame (Cannonry, Metalworks)
Summary: A holy tome was among the items you retrieved from Movalpolos. A friar known as Virnage is asking for the help of an adventurer to investigate this matter further. |
Requirements: The Chains of Promathia expansion is required. The Out of the Depths quest must be completed.
- Talk to Ayame for a cut-scene that starts the quest.
- Go to Bastok Mines and talk with Virnage for a cut-scene. Agree to his proposal, and you will receive the Dawn Talisman key item.
- Go to Oldton Movalpolos and talk with Rakorok. This will spawn the NM Bugallug, which must be defeated. It has around 5000HP and does the standard Bugbear attacks (Earthshock, Heavy Whisk, Flying Hip Press, etc.)
- After defeating Bugallug, talk with Rakorok for a cut-scene where you will lose the Dawn Talisman.
- Return to Bastok Mines and talk with Virnage to complete the quest and receive your gil reward.

| The Bugallug NM seems to be around level 40-45, but can still do decent damage up to level 60 characters. Having at least three characters level 50+ is recommended to take it out, or solo at level 62+. |
