PlayOnline: Currently Known FFXI Issues, & Fix

Details on Current Known Issues (Dec. 10)

Since the implementation of the latest version update on Dec. 8, 2004, several gameplay and system related issues have been discovered. A new update to address these issues has been made and is currently being tested. Players will be informed as soon as a download date has been set.

The following issues have been discovered and are being addressed:

-Screen blackout upon entering or leaving your Mog House.

-The effect length of the following food items is shorter than expected.
Apple Pie
Pamamas
Wild Pamamas

-The linkshell message (/lsmes) does not function as expected.

Note that linkshell messages can still be set by using quotation marks.
Example: /lsmes set "This is a test message."

We apologize for any inconvenience and are working to resolve the issues as quickly as possible.

Details on Current Known Issues: Addition 2

As of Dec. 11, 2004 7:00 (PST) we have addressed the issues regarding blackouts while in Dynamis, or players being unable to progress within the game (affects the "PlayStation 2" version only).

However, we are still unable to completely resolve the issue, and are continuing our investigations. We will post more information regarding recovery work as it becomes available.

We apologize for any inconvenience we might have caused.
