Welcome to the FFXI Quest discussion board! This board is for discussing a broad range of "event" type activities in FFXI. Proper topics of discussion for this board are:

Quests

Missions

ENMs

BCNMs

Any special events in the game

Be sure to read and follow the Discussion Board Guidelines when posting. Also, try to keep all discussion about a specific quest or mission to a single topic, to prevent multiple topics about the same quest.

With the addition of the Quest Database, this board can be used fully. We are currently looking for three things:

1) Updates to Completed Quests -- Any information that is missing or incorrect to the quests that are completely in the database, as listed in the Site Updates. Any quest with information in the Walkthrough for [Quest Name] section is completed, and is fair game for improvement. This information can be posted on this board, as outlined below.

2) Complete Quest Walkthroughs -- We need walkthroughs for any quests that don't have them. A walkthrough for a simple quest can be seen in A Foreman's Best Friend, or a more complicated quest in Return to the Depths. We do not want copies of quest walkthroughs from other sites; we want complete information, by people who have done the quest themselves. This information can be posted on this board, as outlined below.

3) Key Item Info -- Key items are harder to get specific info on from the data files than regular items. Any key item in the game that we do not have in the item database (whether it's from a quest or not) is needed. We need the key item name, description, and how it's obtained. This information can be left in private Feedback, or on the Site Comments Board.

Info on this Forum -- Please keep all information on a specific quest to one topic. Do NOT start another topic for any quest listed on this board, but add to the current one, even if what you have to say isn't in reply to the previous messages. There are over 400 quests in FFXI, and we want one topic per quest on this board, at most.

Thanks in advance for any and all help that is given; we're looking forward to making this section of the site as complete and accurate as the rest. Note that we're not looking for mission walkthroughs at this time; those will be added in the near future, and then we'll see what is needed. Any key items used in missions that aren't in the item database are always welcome, however.
