The first part of the December 2005 FFXI Patch Compilation of Info is up. The armor and weapons formats were changed a bit this time around, so it will take extra time to dig all those out. They will be added as quickly as they can be accurately obtained.

The announcements of Cooking's new Key Items, Stewpot Master AND Patissier, sure got my tummy-wummy rumbaruling! Orpiment can be found under Alchemy materials section in the auction house and is obtainable by mining in Ifrit's Cauldron. I don't know what recipes it is used for yet. Some other changes in Ifrit's Cauldron mining - translucent rocks can now be mined, and darksteel ore seems to be a little bit more common.

We beat Bahamut an hour or so ago.

After you finish the final cutscene for CoP Missions at Blueblade Falls in Lufaise Meadows, proceed to Ru'lude Gardens. There you will start the quest at the palace "Storms of Fate".

After that go to Riverne Site B and go kill Bahamut.

You get a Key Item: Whisper of the Wyrmking for beating him

He likes to use Megaflare and Touchdown a lot. We saw him preparing Gigaflare, but killed him before he had a chance to use it.

Afterwards follow the directions given by Prishe.

Hey I dont understand the relic upgrade -1 gear. Is relic gear not going to drop anymore? and we have to upgrade it like relic weapons? I sure hope not.

Bowl of Bittern (Alchemy)

Crystal: Fire
Ingredients: Onze of salinator, distilled water

Result: 6 x Bowls of bittern
HQ: 8 x Bowls of bittern

Jug of soy milk (Cooking)

Crystal: Fire
Ingredients: 2 x Blue peas, Distilled water

Result: 1 x Jug of soy milk

The Compilation of Info has been updated with all the new Relic +1 armor pieces. The way they are obtained is explained in the Relic +1 section. Thanks for all the recipes and other info so far, folks; I will be getting that into the compilation of info later on Tuesday, so keep it coming.

Confirmed katlady's post about Love Chocolate. Love Chocolate (Clothcraft 1-2, Cooking 1, Leathercraft 1) Crystal: Earth Ingredients: Parchment x1, Heart Chocolate x1, Scarlet Ribbon x1 And for the item called [b]Cibol[b], Benaige in Southern San d’Oria sells them at least at 2nd Conquest for 224g to a Fame 2 San d'Orian so far.

Go to the NPC in Port Jeuno same one as Limbus buy Windy Airship BRD JSE NPC. She Shows you what you need to do to get the AFv2+1 and shows you all the AFv2+1.

Stats on Seraph's Kiss:
+15 HP
+16% MP (85 cap)
+2 MP per tick when resting

Unknown duration--I only ate it about 20 minutes ago. ^^;
Also unknown whether the effect is AoE, but I suspect not since its sister foods are not and it stacks unlike the other AoE foods.

In my 12 synths I got 10 NQ results, a yield of 4 Seraph's Kiss, and a yield of 6 Seraph's Kiss. Since I've only gotten 3 HQ2 results and no HQ3 results in the months I've been making Snoll Gelato, it looks like Seraph's Kiss replaces Sub-Zero Gelato as the HQ in this version of the recipe.

Yields:
NQ: 4 Snoll Gelato
HQ1: 4 Seraph's Kiss
HQ2: 6 Seraph's Kiss
HQ3: 8 Seraph's Kiss

It's possible the 4 and 6 Seraph's Kiss yields are the HQ2 and HQ3, but like I said, very unlikely.
