Anyone else notice that there is room on the Jobs page to put one/two more? I am crossing my fingers for Geomancer.

It will probably include the content from CoP, but I don't think it would be required. 1 question though, why wouldn't you want to have both expansions?

It has not been officially announced whether any previous expansion will be required to run Treasures of Aht Urhgan. More than likely they will not be required; the two expansion packs so far have been stand-alone additions to the game.

Judging by the size of the box in the "New Jobs" section there could be up to 5 :P thats just wishfull thinking though it will most likely be 3 new jobs... im hoping for something along the lines of a necromancer (Why do only those stupid norg pirates get such cool magic ;-;) anyway thats just my 2 cents

I might have missed it, but does anyone have an idea when this is coming out? For the Dec update? I hope not. I have so much CoP left.

You think that the new area will be unlocked right away or would you think that SE would make you earn it like the other areas as in Zilart and COP, where you have to complete missions in order to unlock the area; well im trying to say is; if the new area will be attached to zilart and the cop areas, so if in my case i havent completed most of the missions in both of them and have no areas unlocked, so u think ill be SOL if that is the case?

It does look nice but there is one thing that worries me. With SE cutting it's support to the HDD, I'm starting to get worried about if they will release this for the PS2 and if they do, if there is another expantion, what about it? Maybe I'm panicing for no reason, but if anyone know anything, please share.

Well, that there is the button "Jobs" inflicts the meaning that there are more than one, we just have to wait...

I'm pretty sure that Necromancer will be one of the new jobs. Several Necromancers are mentioned in various quests throughout the current game and one of the new mobs being introduced in Aht Urhgan is a Necromancer. Also most of the expansion involves the Tenshodo/Near East and like you mentioned, Pirates are Necromancers. Seems to make sense that it would be one of the jobs. As for the 3rd new job, I'm looking forward to the surprise. =)

I think it will be like the other expansions. Some areas are free to enter as long as you have the expansion installed and some areas you have to complete either quest or mission to enter.

I personally think some ares might need to have the other expansion pack installed if you consider that boat in NORG that's been lieing there for ages. I tought it would be used to go to tavnazia before the CoP was out but it wasn't. Its probally heading for the new expansion areas.

Hello,

It was my understanding that SE's stance is that though Sony will no longer support the PS2 HDD, SE will still support the software. So all expansions will be released for both PC and PS2, and then when it rolls to Xbox 360, all future expansions will be released on all 3 platforms.

But that was just my understanding, I could be wrong.

Has their been any lead that suggest what the new jobs will come out other then Blue Mage? SE would be nice to let us know about them if there is plan for others.

SE wont cut support for the HDD for the PS2 and the next expansion probably wont come out for a good year or so... no need to worry there. but dont worry for this expansion if they cut support for the PS2 they would piss alot of people off and lose alot of money, and since SE is a buisness they refuse to lose money
