Someone please disprove the following rumor started by Holywar on Cerberus.

Ninurtas Sash drops off the 4th tier buffalo after youve beaten the three NM event buffalos.

I'm on cerberus and I've only encountered two (2) different types of buffalo. that belt's stats are too good to be dropped at this event, too risky to have everyone wearing the damned thing. SE would probably make it a super-bad NM as opposed to something acquired from a yearly event.

however if anyone sees a third or fourth type of buffalo, I might start believing it...

It seems likely that the ninurta sash comes from either a Buffalo NM, or a buffalo-based BC/ENM. The similarities are probably the result of design, but I'd wager good money that it does not come from this event.

I haven't got the sash yet, but I fought it 4 times. I can personally take care of the warping to hp rumor and damage to warp guess. On my 30drk(HP Port Jeuno) I hit it for 0, in batallia downs, just after a thf sa it for 153, it turned and warped me to windy. I warped back with my blm, walked up to it again, made 1 swing, missed, at that time I was warped to windy once again. I went to sandy fought another one, first warp was southern sandy, second was port jeuno. I think the warps are to random city, and I still don't understand the aggro yet. My ls said maybe I was wearing red, all I had was a mercenery captains scythe and full set of centurions armor on, beetle earring, balance rings, brave belt and spike necklace. Anyone have an idea on how it aggroes?

It aggros you when you attack it. Cause I've gone by one on my lvl 10 mule and healed next to it and /sit by one waiting for others to kill it cause engaging it was useless for me.

In west ron there was a Toro by the name Miagu. Could that be the NM Toro with the HQ Sash? Just wanted to throw that one out at ya. :-)

Hmm, well, I did see it on widescan once, as I tracked it. I don't know why he wouldn't show up.

Just wanted to put in my 2 cents. Did quite a bit of Beating on toros outside Jueno and as far as i can see the post that states that the toros warp to the town that is in the direction you get hits seems to be right. Mostly i stood right at the zone and spam Fire2 and every time i was either knocked into Jueno because i was at the Zone Or hp'ed to jueno because i was hit north.

Ok, I would just like to say one thing. The warp rate is dependent on the damage you do to the toro. And seems to start in the range of 1% as soon as you agro it and increase 1% by every damage point done. It may lower if some one else attacks it, but since I pretty much had to kill them by my self( oh sweet god does that take long) I can not conferm that.

So, if you do over 100 damage you are allways warped (wether the damage was in one attack or many). A good trick is to stand at a zone since the warp function does not begin untill about 1 second after your char, recovers from the blow. (while you are flying you will zone insted of beeing dumped to your hp or a set place in wich town you are by)

ok the warping and sending to areas goes like this

if your running from him you get hped usually "the moogle states this if your sharp enough to catch the hint" the moogle says "but it would be much more unfortuanate to BE chased yourself" thus i get "run and you get knocked further fight like a man and get hit to town"

ive tested this too btw i sneak attack then keep facing him and POW port bastok

sa then flee and run i get hped

the only thing missing is what a friend noted if you hit something .. a tree for example when he knocks u back i dunno what happens my friend said he was warped when he hit a platform in gustaberg after the toro hit him into it
