Client: Carmelo (Steaming Sheep Restaurant, Port Bastok)
Summary: To help save Dariah from her strange illness, you must gather the pages of the "Chanson de Liberte." The missing parts -- "Un Moment," "L'Emphemere," and "L'Ancienne" -- lie scattered about in various locations around Vana'diel. |
Requirements: To have completed the previous two quests, and have Bastok fame of level 6 or higher.
- Talk to Carmelo; if you meet the requirements you will see the cut-scene to start the quest.
- Obtain three key items from chests (not coffers) in three different zones:
- "Un Moment" from the chest in Castle Zvahl (either zone)
- "L'Ancienne" from the chest in Labyrinth of Onzozo
- "L'Ephemere" from the chest in Sea Serpent Grotto
- If the quest is active, a character opening the chest will obtain the appropriate key item from the chests. Keys are needed to open the chests in those zones by all jobs except Thief, who can pick the chest. Once all three key items are obtained, return to Bastok.
- Talk to Carmelo to complete the quest and receive your gil reward.

| Most of the mobs that drop the chest keys are between level 45-55. A group of 3-4 characters level 50+ should be able to get the keys necessary to complete the quest. |
