FINAL FANTASY XI Update (Jan. 16)

At the following time, we have performed a version update of FINAL FANTASY XI.

The purpose of this update is to counter the inappropriate methods that were being used on the certain quest to earn the profit continuously.

As we have mentioned before, the use of any third-party equipment or software to change or modify the game in any way is strictly prohibited. If you come across such software, we ask that you please refrain from using it, no matter how minor it may appear to be. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

* This update consists of a version upgrade of the client program. When you press the play button after the time stated below, the version upgrade will begin automatically. Please follow the instructions on the screen.

[Important Update Details]
Requirements to receive the quest "An Explorer's Footsteps" have been changed to the following.
- Requires a certain amount of Fame to receive the quest.
- Players are now asked to wait for 1 earth day (past 7:00 PST) in order to receive another quest.

[Important Update Details]
The following issues have been addressed:
- Game would not proceed properly by selecting the "Let it play with others" option during Kamp Kweh.

- An issue where a chocobo raising related option would be displayed during the "The Amazin' Scorpio" quest.

- An issue wherein the game would freeze while typing during an area change.

- Items which are obtainable from the "Chocobo Hot and Cold Game" have been adjusted.
