Actually, Kreuzet works in a semi-window fashion. As stated, between 9-12 hours of the last kill, it has a chance to pop during any wind weather(single or double). If it pops and depops during this time, it does act as if it were killed, and the spawn timer starts again. After 12 hours, Kreuzet will pop 100% on the next wind weather.

In short:

9-12 Hours: Chance to pop on wind weather
After 12 Hours: 100% pop on first wind weather

Works similar to King Vinegaroon, except that his timer is 21-24 .

The 9-12 hour window is not exactly a window... after 9 hours the NM has a chance of spawning in any of the upcoming Wind weathers in the area. It does not have to be the next wind after 9 hours, nor does it have to be double wind weather. An effective way to camp is to have someone in Rabao checking the weather for the region, which sometimes hints at upcoming wind weather.

As for the NM itself, I have witnessed a RDM solo it (albeit very slowly, binding gravity with DoT) and a Thief solo tank it with healing support. I would recommend a minimal amount of melee for this, because it will spam TP attacks, which can get pretty nasty.

The drop rate is very high, but not 100%. Of the 5 kills i have witnessed, four kukri's dropped.

Happy hunting.
