2/2 on this, both times spawned at I-11. 63PLD/WAR, 68DRK/THF & 70RDM/WHM. Had no problems :) Good luck!

Its better to take at least one thf if you get a group of friends to help you cause apparently the drop rate on this darn thing is 25% >

Beat as a 71 thf/nin. Fairly easy fight, shadows stayed up nearly the whole time. 238 evasion skill.

I am fairly sure this is activated by HP. When I first got drop I equipped it (was off sync with my Auto Refresh as Paladin) and was gaining 2 mp (auto-refresh tic then gorget refresh NO sanction on) and was far below 85% HP of my base slots that are counted.

Latent effect is active when HP > 85% of [Base HP (HP from armor)]<br /> <br /> HP from armor refers to item in the weapon, sub, ranged, head, body, hands, legs, and feet. Therefore, having HP effects in the other slots will effectively make the latent trigger at a lower HP %.
