NOTE: I LIKE the idea of adding drop rates, or hell even making exclusive drops for having all 15 jobs in an alliance..... A LOT! Where would I be able to go to suggest this to SE personally?

All suggestions can be left via the Support and Service section of the main FFXI website. Go here and select Comments & Suggestions to get to the form for that. They do occasionally implement suggestions from here, and it's really the only way to leave constructive feedback to them.

Hello hello! i've never posted here... but i think i have some news that will make the little guy in your pants stand up ^^... I've been reading about 'Treasures of (Aht something-another)' and ... guess what guy!? THERE ARE VIDEOS... YES >>>>>>>> VIDEOS <<<<<<<< of BUM (Blue Mage) Uh-huh (i dont know where these vids are but) i saw screen shots of a guy runnning around (in what looked like Shair gear, you know 72 bard stuff), except he (and his taru companion) had sashes over their faces (reminded me of the shrouds that the female muslims wear)... and lo and behold our interesting friend was using Fire Breath... yes... he was... not his lizard pet, not his Dragoon... he was... this is very exciting... another question is aroused from the other copy right posted on 'scars of war' by S-E... i dunno if this has to do with FFXI *prays it does* but it sounds pretty p-i-m-p and among other things, every job has had their nerf (remember MNKs 3 years ago with meditate? Spamming Asuran fists every second, literally) and i dont really think BLM should get nerfed... but i think they should introduce new content to help out the other jobs ... i dont know how... but something... i mean... yea blms are all powerful in damage.. but guess what... (i'm a mnk!!!) punch them in the face a few times, and you realize they're paper dolls, just dont let them cast... they are way too weak physically, to accomidate for their magical strength. but... i dunno, the new 'fighting styles' sounds interesting, and i think they should bring more to the table... and when i read on battle royal i read on the conflict thing, and maybe it was an old ballista thing, but i saw people fighting in areas that werent Pashow or Jugner or Meriphitaud (sp)... i destinctly saw a RNG shooting a guy in the butt in Rolanberry... there's no other local that has friggin vinyards in it... maybe this was a new PvP system outside ballista (PLS PLS PLS) but... maybe it was just Ballista Beta screenshots =\ (NONONO pls NO!!)... but they could Add to traits, like... give NIN new utsusemi scroll (but that make them a lil too untouchable), or give DRG a wyvern updates as the he lvls, like drg changes appearance, and an obvious boost in power... and give MNK another HtH upgrade... give war a new ability, give SMN a new smn... give whm some new spells, give blm some new spells... LEAVE RDM ALONE!!!!! They are too buff heavy already, they are fine... you see where i'm going with this tho... right? i dunno... give it all some thought guys, send SE messages, who knows, maybe something amazing will happen (i want my friends to come back from WoW... i want new worlds... i want to teach newbs... i want i want i want) ... ^^ keep talking

More info about those new zones mentioned, is up today:

---------------------------------------------------------

Step Into Limbus

Did Dynamis leave you thirsty for another challenge? We bring you "Limbus," coming in the October version update! Upon the completion of certain requirements, players will be able to enter one of the two mysterious new areas that comprise Limbus: "Temenos" and "Apollyon." Check the version update details in October for more information!

Also, a one-way door in the Grand Palace of Hu'Xzoi will become accessible from both sides for players who have advanced far enough through the "Chains of Promathia" story.

Finally... it was a huge pain to get to the western Ix'Aern MNK spawn because that door was locked. Yay S-E!

A place that makes Dynamis look comparatively easy...

(yipe!)

Any bets on an increase in the overall level cap at some point within the next six months? At this rate, it might be necessary just to survive...

Hmm, I think you might be reading a little too much into it. Limbus is "another challenge," but not necessarily more challenging than Dynamis.

Sounds like it will be a Demon type zone, since Apollyn is supposed to be the greek word for the lord of demons.

quick search on google, brings up a couple of quick little notes about the two new zones...

My guess, is yeah, it sounds like a sacred land (which would make sense in the story) and possibly a "final" boss which is even more powerful than the dynamis lord.

Apollyon has long been a "destroyer" and is one of the key parts of the apocalypse and the tribulation times referenced in the Revalations chapter of the bible.

messagenet.com/myths/ppt/_T.html

Temenos

An area of land which was dedicated to the Immortals and not to be used for “profane” purposes; a precinct used as the site of temples and groves because it was sacred to the Immortals.

dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=Apollyon

< Apollyon link. these are references to the bible, but if you do a search for Apollyon and greek mythology on google you get...

http://www.pantheon.org/areas/mythology/europe/greek/articles.html

Apollyon
by Caitlin Dieringer, Clarksville Middle School

"The destroyer". In the new testament of the Bible, Apollyon is called the angel of the bottomless pit. Abaddon, a poetic name for the land of the dead in the old testament, is Apollyon's Greek translation from the Hebrew language. Apollyon, in early Christian literature, is a name for the devil. He is identified as an angel of death, "hideous to behold, with scales like a fish, wings like a dragon, bear's feet, and a lion's mouth."
