Soulflayers in arrapago reef seem to have either true sight or true sound. Ran by one with full buffs, sneak and invis and full HP on way to illrusi atoll and one immediately started casting ice spikes as I passed. I figured it was coincidendence and continued on. few seconds later was hit with a 680dmg blizzaga III through fresh stoneskin and phalanx as a 75Rdm/Blm and chainspell warped as Thunder IV was being cast.
Checked as Very tough.

Came across Southern Piranu while fishing for Guguru Orobon, haven't seen any info on it yet. Appears to be an HNM spawn in place of this NM. We were easily killing the lesser NM (Guguru Orobon) when this one was fished up instead once. Party didn't put a dent in it.
73BST, 2x 65BLM and 63 Mnk that Hundred Fisted

Tyranobugard is a pet for another nm heh, DRagon scaled something something. Bst with 3 nm buggard pets, you can pull the pets with carby and they will not link the other buggards.
you can kill them and he will spawn thm after some time. we managed to kill this nm and only got windy crystals.

Okay, some information on new NMs from the July patch...
First, the big Troll NM in Besieged, Vorjirzur the Valiant is one evil NM. He uses Invincible a LOT, but Lakshmi managed to defeat it(don't know exactly how; I'm just a Bard!) and once we defeated him, the Trolls retreated. (BTW, Lakshmi is still undefeated. Woohoo!)
And I have info on Lamia No.19! Well, an alliance(14 at the time, mostly people 70-75, but there were three people, including me, level 56) went to save some prisoners and take down a few mirrors in Arrapago Reef. We were going around a long bend with Qutrub and Lamia to take down an Archaic Mirror. Halfway around the bend, we get some Lamiae attacking us(o smart Monk decided to get ahead of himself and Chi Blast the mirror, a BLM also cast Burst II on it...). We had some Qutrub come along, too, but then in say/NPC-type chat it said something like, "You have an eerie sense of foreboding..." and Lamia No.19 popped near the water. Someone attacked her when the alliance was half-dead, and we got, um, pwned, for lack for a better term. After we were all dead, Lamia No.19 despawned.
Sometime later, when 3/4 of us were up(I had had to go AFK), Lamia No.19 respawned. At first, she didn't aggro(she was turned the other way from everyone). I and someone else aggroed a normal Qutrub and Lamia No.19 turned around, and started killing the alliance off again. We weren't up to our full capacity at the time, so we couldn't really fight her. As one BLM was still alive, he ran around to not get killed, and eventually Lamia No.19 despawned in a nearby cave(the BLM did die by another monster, though). Some of my details might not be so accurate because I was AFK when Lamia No.19 popped for the second time, and I'm a Bard, so I don't exactly see everything everyone's doing. :x
But, in conclusion about Lamia No.19:
Lamia NM, casts BLM spells(tier 4! I'm pretty sure she casted Stone IV), when she pops nearby players get a message saying "You get an eerie sense of foreboding...", she spawns and disappears(but not while engaged), and she is one bad*** NM.
Thanks if you read it! I <3 me some Somepage. :)

Whilst fishing in Mt. Zayloam, i fished up a Zhayloam Jagil.
this thing was very lerge compared to the other pugil type mobs. hit me for around 200-280 dmg per hit as a 69RDM. was using either a sinking minnow or a minnow.

The bird is the actual NM. Although the bird is called "Zoraal Ja's", it seems that zoraal ja is actually the pet. Zoraal drops nothing, and gives less xp than the bird, which drops fowler earring, and zoraal ja's axe.

Some of the jobs of the beastmen in the new areas seem to have changed. I noticed these particular ones while partying last night near the Mamool Ja staging point.
Mamool Ja Philsopher is now BLM not NIN (they have -ga spells now)
Mamool Ja Infiltrator is now NIN not MNK (they have ninjitsu spells now)
Also, the name of the Jurik has changed to something really strange that I can't remember how to spell.
