It looks like a lot of recipes were not put into the Guild list this time around, including nearly all the Cooking ones. So, for now at least, we're back to the bad old days where people have to experiment to figure out what the new recipes are.

This goes for more than just Cooking; a lot of the new recipes aren't showing up, although some have been added. I'll keep updating the recipes as we find out more info; keep checking and trying things out, and let us know what you dig up!

I did a few quests involving Qutiba and Ulamaal in the teashop in Aht urghan Whitegate. After Vanishing Act was completed I was accepted into the (Epicurean society?). I was offered secret recipes after this :D Each of the 2 NPC gave me a (cooking of course) recipe. When I talked to them immediately again they said I had to wait. So perhaps I have to wait until after JP midnight. Also if you wait til after JP midnight after completing Vanishing Act, you can get the quest A Taste of Honey. The reward was Irmik Helvasi (a desert) and the recipe too. ( I am level 99.3 cooking so these may be Veteran recipes)

Secret recipes:

[b]Balik Sandvici [b]

Fire Crystal. Olive oil, rock salt, kitron, loaf of white bread, wild onion, mithran tomato, an Uskumru

[b]Imperial Coffee [b]

Fire crystal. Maple sugar, bowl of coffee powder, Distilled water

[b]Irmik Helvasi[b]

(The NPC said this required experience with making sweets so assuming it requires Patissier)

Fire Crystal. Selbina butter, Semolina, pine nuts, selbina milk, 3 pots of White Honey

I got one honey by putting up sneak and invisible, running up to the hive in the Woodlands, dropping invisible and clicking on the hive. I had to use Invincible and warp out :p I bought the other 2 required for the Taste of Honey quest :D

Aht Urhgan Dart Normal Quality result only makes 8.

Dunno if this is the right place to post this, but Dried Date also gives Beast Killer effect. Was just leveling my BLU and used one, and I intimidated a Forest Hare.

Nevermind... I'm dumb. The Beast Killer effect was coming from having Sprout Smack and Wild Oats set. >.<;;

The new shellfish Bonecraft synth (Istiridye) when HQed can give Black Pearl, unfortunatly i cannot say whether it was a HQ or HQ2/3 but my guess is that these give identical results to the similar Shall Shell synth.

Recipe for Roast Coffee Beans is not Alchemy its Cooking.

I'm Lv 94.2+2 cook and I HQx6 on some.

The cap for synthing I would have no idea since I'm so high.

Just wanted to correct that.

Craft: Cooking
Crystal: Fire
Ingreds: Coffee Beans x1

I was hoping the same could be said for Hamsi and Sardines, but unfortunately I can't find a synth in common yet. Hard to believe hamsi are just a junk fish altogether though since you catch loads and loads with a Sabiki and the NPC's also sell them.

Some information regarding Coffee and Balik sandvici. This is just rough estimates from my experience as a cook. Most of the synths where done on optimal day facing HQ direction.

96 cooking, no cooking gear:

roast coffee beans: 50% HQ (35 or lower)
coffee powder: 30% HQ (65 or lower)
Imperial coffee: 1-2/12 HQ (higher than 66)

I made alot of those since i would love the +1 coffee to replace ginger cookies. Unfortunately the final product seems to be rather high level, which surprises me. I would guess it's level 66+.

Baliki Sandvici:

HQ 50% (level 35 or lower)

Made alot of these for leveling the new jobs and Linkshell people. The HQ has the same attributes but lasts longer (60min). So far i only get one +1 on HQ.

the smithing cap on iron bullets is lvl 22

That cant be possible. Im 94.6 Alch/ 34 Smithing and i rarely HQ.. I do HQ.. but maybe.. 2-4 times out of 20 synths. im thinking the bullets are a lvl 60-70 Alchemy synth with Smithing sub somewhere around 30-34.

2/20 = 10%
4/20 = 20%

if its 22 smithing, and you have 32 smithing, you're in tier1, which is a 10% HQ rate. If you say its 34 smithing, it is impossible, as you wont HQ 10-20% of the time on a tier0.
