We've added a new database where you can search gardening results by pot, seeds and/or crystals. The grain, vegetable, herb and fruit seeds results are fairly complete, and we're working on adding more tree cuttings, tree saplings and cactus stems recipes, as well as recipes with the new wooden pot.

Please post any new recipes you have with the wooden pot, or that aren't in the database, in this thread.

Thanks!

Just as a minor update to your data:
With overwhelming power to my Gardening enhancement:
Brass Pot - Herb Seeds + Earth Crystal I got 6 carnations, you have the upper limit at 5.
Earthen Pot - Herb Seeds + Earth Crystal I got 4 carnations, you only have 7 as a possibility.

Porcelain Pot - Herb Seeds + Earth Crystal (multiple such plants) I got 5, 4 & 3 Lightning Crystals (you only list 3 as a possibility), I got 6, 5 & 4 Black Peppers (you give 5-6 as the possibility).

I'm going to continue to write down my harvests from gardening and I'll let you know of any further updates.

Just don't select to feed it a crystal, it will continue growing and after a period of time you will no longer have the option to feed it a crystal.

A further update, got a harvest of only 3 carnations from one pot last night:
Porcelain pot, herb seeds and earth crystal.
You have the lower limit in carnation yield for this combo set to 5.

With overwhelming power to my Gardening enhancement:

So the Enhancement DOES influence the result instead of just making the plants more resistant to withering?

I know there are few things that are more unknown than what REALLY influsences tthose plants, but plz write your theories.

Hi! I really want to start Gardening but I can only play about 3-4 days a week usually Thur-Sun. I keep hearing about moghancements that make it so you don't have to check every 24 RLHrs. Is there anyway I can use the moghancement:gardening items so that my plants won't die when they aren't checked for 3 days? Thanks for any help.

Once a plant is ready to be harvested, generally how long (days) can I wait before I harvest? I want to harvest on a particular moon (full) and sometimes the plant is ready before the right moon.

No idea to be honest, just thought it was best to mention it in case it did. I tend to find the yields fairly consistant on the average per plant, all that ever seems to vary is the relative yields of the different possible item types from the plants.

Well over the Xmas hols there there was a period of ~2.5 days where I didn't get to check them (visiting relatives so restricted to <40kb/s!) and they were all right so if you buy/synth enough Earth element decorations for your Mog house you should be able to manage it. As mentioned above I have an overwhelming Earth energy for my house.

I've been gardening a few times, and each time, I could only feed one crystal... As I read this post, I noticed that it's possible to feed two crystal to the seeds... How come I can't seem to do it ? Is it a matter of pots ? Seeds ? Maybe I never noticed I could feed a extra crystal... Can someone explain please ?

Thanks !

It's a matter of seeds.

Grain/Vegetable/Herb seeds only have 1 Feed Crystal cycle.

Fruit Seeds, Tree Cuttings/Saplings and Cactus Stems have 2 Feed Crystal cycles.
