Walkthrough for Knocking on Forbidden Doors

Prerequisite: The quest Behind the Smile must be completed; access to the Phomiuna Aqueducts is required. This quest will not activate until the start of the next Earth day (midnight in Japan), after completion of Behind the Smile.

Talk with Enaremand (J-7 Upper Floor) for an event that starts the quest.
Talk to Chemioue in Tavnazian Safehold for an event.
Go to Phomiuna Aqueducts.
In Phomiuna Aqueducts, go to the Wooden Ladder at C-9 on the second map, and select the ladder for an event. No keys are required to get to this area; it can be done solo by any job.
Go to Misareaux Coast, and select the ??? at I-6 for a key item.
Go to the base of the waterfall at F-4 in Misareaux Coast and select the ??? to spawn the mannequin NM Alsha.
Alsha is an odd fight. She will cast Silence, Paralyze, various Ancient Magic and -ga II spells, but will occasionally also Cure III you. Once she is reduced in HP, the message will show up that "Large drops of oil begin pouring from the eyes of the mannequin". At this point she casts Fire II on herself until she dies. If she kills herself, you will have to rezone and try to kill her again; you must deal the final blow to defeat her. Save spells or weaponskills to do enough damage to kill her when you need to.
Once Alsha is defeated there will be an event, and you will obtain a 'Better Humes and Mannequins' key item.
Go to Mhaura and talk to Fyi Chalmwoh to end the quest and receive your reward.

Quest Notes: This quest allows the ability to set the pose of your mannequin, as often as you would like. Once the quest is completed, Fyi Chalmwoh will change the pose of any mannequin you own repeatedly, for 1000 gil each time. When you request a change in pose, you can select and see a sample pose before you confirm the change.

Recommended Level for Knocking on Forbidden Doors

Soloable at level 65-70; Alsha can be a difficult fight, because of the spells she casts.

Note, you might need to talk to Chemioue twice.
