To get the quest u have to have level 4 San d'oria fame not Rabao/Selbina fame.

Apperently the fame is higher than lvl 4 x_x because that's what I have in Rabao/Selbina, and he won't give me the quest. >

Enter Quicksand Caves from the entrance located at (K-7) in Eastern Altepa desert after starting the quest. Once you enter Quicksand Caves follow the linear path until you reach a drop at (I-7) - (J-7). With two alternatives you can choose to drop either from the Western drop (which leads to one of the five spwan points for the ???) or the Eastern drop (which leads to four of the five spawn points). Ultimately the choice is yours but I recomend to take the Western drop first. <br /> <br /> From the Western drop follow the path until you reach an intersection. Go left/East and at the dead end you will find one of the location for the ??? at (H-6). If the ??? is not there head West and follow the linear path in order to exit at (D-5) into the Eastern Altepa Desert.<br /> <br /> Return to the entrance for Quicksand Caves at (K-7) and this time take the Eastern drop. From here head South down the linear path until you reach a big room. In the middle of this room in the North-West corner of (H-10) is another spawn point for the ???. If you do not find the ??? continue your journey by heading North-West and entering another path that leads to yet another room. <br /> <br /> In this room examine the North-West corner at (E-9) for the third spawn point of the ???. If the ??? is not there head south where you will meet a second drop. <br /> <br /> Take the Eastern drop at (G-10) and continue south down the linear path. Head right/West once you reach an intersection at (G-9). At the end of this path you will find the fourth spawn point of the famous ??? located at (D-9). If you still did not find the ??? head East until you reach another big room. <br /> <br /> In this room take the South-East path. Once you reach the hallway head East to the end of the hallway where you will find the fifth and final spawn point of the ??? at (L-11). <br /> <br /> Once you found the ??? complete the quest by heading back to Rabao and talking to Alfesar once more. You will be sent to Northe San d'Oria in order to talk to Charlaimagnat. At this point you must simply wait one game day and zone out of North San d'Oria in order to finish the quest. Walkthrough:<br /> <br /> 1. Talk to Alfesar in Rabao.<br /> 2. Head to Quicksand Caves. Using the Quicksand Caves link above, enter the Caves from Eastern Altepa Desert 1. Find the ??? on one of the many piles of rubble found by taking two seperate paths. The "western" path holds a ??? on Row 6 and the "southern" path holds the rest of the ???. For exact locations, refer to ffxi-atlas.com.<br /> 3. Head back to Rabao and talk to Alfesar again.<br /> 4. Head to San d'Oria North and talk to Charlaimagnat [M-7]: located downstairs. Wait one day, make sure you zone in and out of N.Sandy, and talk to him again to receive the scroll.
