Ok, just an FYI ... I just created a new char, leveled up to 24 ... Did 108 Zincs Trade (4 at a time) (plus 1 initial trade), did 1 Yagudo Neckless set(4) in windurst, was able to unlock Tonko, and two other scroll quests, had 153 Rice balls. did the Tenshodo Invite quest, did the Dokurami, and Kuyrami (sp?) scroll quests, and rice balls went to 152. Now I have all the quests available and am fishing my damp scroll and about to get utsusemi Ichi. I'm going to repeat this on a mule for gil. I'm sure if I did maybe 3 or 4 more zinc trades, I could have not needed to do the two scroll quests to pop the fame for utsusemi.

A friend did this today. Rice ball price of 156 yesterday was still only fame 3. 153 price today got enough fame to get the quest.

I dont get this it says i can get rice balls for 158 but the npc in norg tells me i only have fame 3 how can that be some where i think that they hav changed the way that the fame works.<br /> <br /> Cand some please tell me if they have the same problem.<br /> <br /> Thanks

you may be wondering why you cant get the quest ... i traded in 200 yagudo necklaces and yet i couldn't get the quest ... untill i traded 10 rusty leggings to "Heizo" or trade 10 rusty subligarias to "Heiji", witch they are both located at atop the NPC "Laisrean" witch gives you the quest. good luck out there. (also recomended to bring silent oils ... a least a stack.) unless your a high lvl ... lol

the level requirement is lv. 10<br /> it takes 200 Yagudo necklaces for fame 6

The March 7th update added a level requirement. Does anyone know what it is ? Incidentally, rice ball price of 160 only got me to fame 3. Maybe this changed in the update too.

I did the fame quest in Selbina, trading in the grass (12 stacks) to get Jeuno fame. I only had to trade 44 necklaces to get rice balls to 159. Not sure if I did any other Jeuno quests, but I don't think so.

I farmed 100 Yagudo necklaces, and 56 Zinc ores, plenty enough to get me Fame 4 with the Tenshodo.

I'm farming the Yag necklaces for the fame to do this quest and I just got the rice balls to 160gil so I wanted to tell people how many yag necklaces I farmed. 132 necklaces for fame 4 but I wouldn't take chances so farm 150 probably before you do it.

Ok This website is a good sorce. But the don't have to much details on how to do it. So here ya goa pleople enjoy the new walk through!<br /> <br /> Entering Sea Serpent Grotto from Yuhtunga Jungle, instead of keep turning right to go to Norg, just keep<br /> turning left until you reach N-14 on the map. At N-14, there's a hidden door, keep examine the door until<br /> the message change to "You see something silver glittering around the indentation." After you see this<br /> message, trade a Silver Beastcoin to the door to open it. After passing the door, go north along the right<br /> wall until you reach H-8. Drop down to the lower levels and keep going north along the right way wall --<br /> you'll eventually reach the Sahagins' storage area. Examine the ??? at H-3 in the storage area to initiate a<br /> cut-scene and receive the key item: "Sea serpent statue". Go back to Norg and talk to Laisrean to finish<br /> the quest.
