Summary: A monster that appears near the lighthouse in South Gustaberg has stolen a package addressed to Malene. Ask the adventurer Dalzakk how to lure the beast out, and recover the item. |
- Talk to Malene.
- Obtain a Quus from fishing or the Auction House.
- Go to M-10 in South Gustaberg and trade the Quus to the ??? near the lighthouse to spawn Bubbly Bernie.
- Kill Bubbly Bernie, and take the Steam Clock it always drops back to Bastok.
- Trade the Steam Clock to Malene for your gil reward.
This quest can be repeated. Bubbly Bernie can be spawned and killed infinitely by continuing to trade a Quus to the ???. However, the Steam Clock is Rare, which limits how quickly the quest can be repeated, unless it is done with a group. |
