Ok, me and cousin were looking at this item and we loved it. I went as BST53/THF26 and he was WAR42/MNK21, I killed it 22 times and got 3 rings. It was Waning Cresent moon phase when we did this. I hope this helps.

Droprate isnt as bad as previous post if you have TH2. I got mine on 18th kill.

Stroper Chyme also spawns on the 2 plateau's on the first map, at G-10 and H-10. These plateau's are accessable by falling through the holes on the second map. I also suggest that you sub thief if you have it, because widescan is not very usefull on this mob as it spawns after exactly 12 minutes on 3 or 4 different locations(one is a lottery spawn the other 3 aren't). So Claiming the mob won't be such an issue, getting the ring however... <br /> The droprate of this mob is very low. i am now 1/80 on the ring. It can also drop 2 slime oils at once.
