Spawns around E-7 from 20:00 to 4:00 Vana'diel time, approximately every 21 hours; it will spawn the first Vana'diel night after 21 hours have gone by. Xolotl will despawn at 4:00 if not engaged in combat; despawns after 4:00 during combat if everyone who is fighting it becomes charmed or dies.
Xolotl summons two skeletons to assist him: Xolotl's Sacrifice, and Xolotl's Hound Warrior. They will be resummoned if they are killed; they do not disappear after Xolotl is killed, if they have hate on anyone. The skeletons can be slept with Lullaby, and kited away from Xolotl, to make the fight easier.

Me and my elite RL friends usually kill this every chance we get. Our setup varies from BST, BST, NIN, WHM(or RDM) to BST, NIN, WHM D:. I have soloed Xolotl on my BST while my friends kite the pets and we got lucky no one was near Boneyard Gully to steal it.

Killing people while charmed is not considered MPK or against the rules, and infact encouraged~ It is a feature of Xololt's intended charm implementation.

A skilled RDM/NIN or a BST/WHM(with Gaudy Harness) can Kite both pets.<br /> <br /> A skilled BST can solo Xolotl (excluding pets)
