Spawns between 20:00-4:00 on the barge rides through Phanauet Channel; it is not fished up. With the barge timers, it only spawns on either: the barge from Central Landing to South Landing via Newtpool; the barge from South Landing to Central Landing via Emfea Waterway. It can spawn on one barge and (if not killed) get carried onto the next; it despawns at 04:00.

Definitely not a 21-24 hour respawn. I've done the opposite of Ghades and camped him 20-24 like the page says, but have often had to wait 30 hours. I assume this is because someone got it between the 12>20 hour after my last kill.

I camped him for a great while, he's not 21-24 hours, I saw him spawn after 12 hours a few times. I killed him over 30 times now, I always went after him 12h after he was killed and he always spawned 12-18 hours after he was killed.<br /> <br /> Hope that helps the campers ^^

Vodyanoi spawns any Vana'diel day. I think by "Darksday" someone meant to say "Nighttime".
