hey i just got my npc i have a few questions 1 do you have to be lvl 30 to lvl it npc keep the 3 lvl diffrence? also how do you upgrade is weapon and armor?

Also, you can call them at lvl 5 minimum and I think that they still get exp although if you are below lvl 30 - say lvl 7 - then they are also going to be capped at lvl 7 to match you. I hope that helps a little.
P.S. I just wish that they would add more quests and the ability to keep them out with you for alot longer periods of time no matter how many kills you do.
