Ok, so, i went in to camp Cargo Crab Colin, (I am lvling BLU.) only to see that he was being camped, so, i backed off, and headed to Dame Blanche (Ghost NM). I start killing Bogys and see that between two puddles, in the back of the room, is a ???, i say my prayers, and click it. "There is nothing out of the ordinary here." I start trying to trade random, loose items to it, but it never reacted to anything. Does anyone know what this is for?

P.S. Does anyone know what Giant Clams are for?

The ??? is 1 of 3 spots needed for the NPC quest "Blighted Gloom" and the 4 giant clams are for the quest "Chasing Dreams" whichh when done grants the Venerer Ring. Hope that helps.

I think the ??? you are referring to is for the NIN quest. When you have the quest (NPC starter in Port Bastok), and you click the ???, 3 Leeches will pop and aggro. Don't do this alone unless you are lvl 40 or higher. I (30war) did it with 3 other lvl 30 chars.

Sorry Mick but the ??? that you are talking about, is in the back of a tunnel off of that room. The ??? that this person is asking about is in the main room with Dame Blanche.
