It says that gil is the reward for the first time. That is incorrect. You get an item. No gil.

Thanks for the feedback. Is there never a gil reward at all? From the information available, it looked like there was a 10k gil reward involved in the quest as well. Specifics on this are certainly appreciated.

The quest reward list is missing Leremieu Salad, this is a possible reward.

Another update on possible rewards: Raxa and Behemoth Hide. Yeah I can confirm behemoth hides. This is a screenshot I took to prove.
