Subjob Quest in Bastok?

Is there no way to get a subjob in Bastok? If not, I am regretting my decision to start there more and more....

You don't get any subjob in any of the 3 starting countries. You get the subjob quest in Selbina or Mhaura. You must be at least level 18, and then you are required to get 3 items. Sand'Oria and Bastok both usually do the Selbina subjob quest, and Windurst usually does Mhaura. Also, you need to collect 3 items for either quest (you only need to do one even though both are different), no matter which you pick. I suggest that even if you are Windurstian to go to Selbina to do yor subjob quest since more people level in the Valkurm Dunes and you would get your subjob items faster.

I accepted the quest in Mhaura because someone told me it would be easier to get the items there. I have the crab apron and damselfly worm for Selbina, but no magicked skull and none of the items for Mhaura. I tried talking to Isacio after I accepted the quest in Mhaura and it wouldn't start the quest. Do I have to do this in Mhaura now? I am level 21 WHM and noone seems to want to help me and I doubt anyone will want someone in Qufim without a sub-job, so I am kinda stuck. Any help/advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

You will need to do the mhaura quest, I did the same as you and excepted this quest before selbina one. It was kinda annoying to do as hardly anyone xp'd over there so needed to get some friends to help me get the items

you get the quest in selbina when you have aqquired level 18 you need the crab apron the damsefly worm and the magicked skull for the mission.
