i was messing around with my cure macro and i made this

equip ring1 "astral ring"
equip ring2 "astral ring"
wait 1
equip ring1 "windurstian ring"
equip ring2 "saintly ring"
ma "Cure" <me>

and it always dropped me 50 hps, then cured me 30 and reset.
i never dropped more than the 50 hps. so now i can stand outside my moghouse and level healing real easy.

i was only lvl 11 when i figured this out and i only had 13 healing magic, now
im only lvl 12 but i capped my healing magic. i have read that it is really hard to cap. but with this it seems to easy. so it must be a bug.

Healing Magic skill (or any skill really) isn't that difficult to cap at level 12. (Ok, two exceptions, guarding and ninjutsu are difficult.) Also, in order to build Healing Magic skill one doesn't have to actually restore any HP with the Cure spell.

Do you get more skill-ups than just casting on yourself? I've worked on capping my healing magic using the Mog House trick and it is fairly easy. Maybe your get a better skill-up because you're casting the spell and actually healing someone.

The bugs I am curious about are how people walk on the railings of the airship or get into the stream and the trees in Windurst Woods.

Walking on the railing is a PC bug (not sure if it works on the 360 or not, definately does not work on PS2). I think you have to be able to see over the railing, because I can't do it with my Taru, but my hume does it fine. Walk along the rail until your character gets 'caught'. That is the hole, and if you run at that hole a few times, you will jump up on the railing.

There's a similar hole in the boat in Valkurm, and on the airship dock in San d'Oria.

There are several little places where you can do things on the PC that you can't on the PS2, for instance, in the tunnel to Qufim, near one of the Dancing Weapons, on the PC you can walk between a small rock and the wall, but on the PS2 and 360, you get stuck and have to go around the rock.
