I agree that the "nerfs" have always been about making the game make more sense, and be better over-all. The "RNG nerf" was because ranger's aren't supposed to stand 2 feet away from a mob w/ a long bow... that's just not how it would work. Closer w/ Xbows, closer still w/ guns, that all makes sense. Ranger is still a good job. They had to change mob behavior to make the game more fair, so the "BST nerf" was necessary. They changed other aspects of BST to compensate, like not having jug pets reduce party exp. The "BLM nerf" seems like it's just about making people THINK, which is how you should have to approach problems. "Throw 17 BLMs at it!" won't work anymore... hopefully. I think it's to enrich the game. On a side note, those of you who "can't" do DM w/ a regular 3 party set-up, better get started on your manaburn before it's too late! lol

The BLM nerf appears to have been compensated for with second tier ancient magic. Combine that with the San line of elemental ninjutsu and I don't think blm's are going to be that bad off.
