Hello,
When trying to cap skills that require a mob, I tend to prefer 3 methods.
1.) Skill Up party. Get together with a bunch of LS friends, or just grab some random people in Jeuno, and go kill stuff. Since you are close to your cap, you want to focus on things that are Tough to you or better. Because you are not going in for exp it doesnt matter what the level spread of your part is. This works really well if you can go with someone 10 or more levels than you.
2.) Fight Elementals - this works well for me when leveling weapons in particular. They are highly resistant to physical damage, so you can fight them for a long time, plus, they dont do a lot of damage, so its ok to fight them for awhile. If you can, sub whm to keep yourself healed, or stock up on drinks and potions.
3.) This last one really depends on what type of skill you are leveling. You mentioned enfeebing. Honestly, if you are focusing on it for your dark, level Blm. If you keep your BLM a couple levels higher than your drk, your enfeeb should always be capped. Additionally, for Great Sword or Sythe, when you go to party, take both. When you level, cap one, and if you are not needed for a skill chain, switch weapons. For my Warrior, its a little easier. I sub ninja and have both an axe and a sword in use. They level at the same time. With my Mnk, its even easier, H2H gets capped within the first 2 or 3k.
Some general suggestions, stay on top of it as much as you can. Get a bunch of acc gear and food. You may not need to party with it, but its great for skillups. If you are going solo on these things, try to get a weapon that has a low delay and not worry so much about dmg. Pick spots where you can pick a fight, but then zone if you need to. Also, as you level, you may want to consider running around by yourself to level weapons that you dont use now, but may need later. For example as a war, I try to keep Great Sword, Great Axe, Axe, Sword, Ranged and Marksmanship all leveled a little bit (I am failing at this miserably lol, only my axe and sword are capped). But I do that in case I choose to level something later that may need one of those items. I also bring my NPC with me to keep me healed. It helps me get my NPC exp and levels my gear.
I hoped this helped.
