Puppet master help -Please help me!!

Ok, I was wondering what items do i need to turn my puppet into a mage, melee or ranger. I don't wanna choose the Magic quest and then find out i can't afford it. So will anyone be kind enough to help me? Thanks to anyone that does.

u have to be lvl10 PUP, then go toalk to Ghatad in the Automaton shop. he will ask u if u want to upgrade you're puppet body, then just look but dont take it til u look at all the items u need, then pick the one u want hope that helps :)

Just for a comparison, right now on Cerberus, Silver Pieces are going for 100,000 gil. Cost of the different frames on my server: Melee - 580k Mage - 600k Range - 800k - 1mill my room mate and I just got our pups to 13, so yeah... it gets pricey... Pen
