Blu abilities

I opened Blu and I have been playing as it for a couple days but I can't learn any abilities. I have tried letting the mobs beat the crap out of me while using selbina milk for regen but I still havent learned any of their abilities no matter how many times I see them using them. Is there a certain level you need to be in order to learn abilities or am I going about it the wrong way? Any help would be appreciated.

P.S.
Also does anyone have a link to a list of abilities Blu can learn?

It took me lvl 9 till i could learn my 1st spell, if u want to get spells from 10-20 so u dont have to stop trying to find the next spell u should it works i do it all the time so u have no worries hope this helps^^

Also having you Blue Magic skill capped seems to help. And the best spell to get first is pollen followed by perhaps cocoon.

It all depends on luck, took me 8-10 crawlers to get my cocoon. Having blue magic skill as close to cap as you can will help. I started collecting spells at lv6. The 1st spell I would suggest you getting would be Pollen, so you can heal yourself while being beat on, for a start, when the lowest monsters outside each nation is easy prey--, you can use them to learn skills: bastok = worm, bee; windurst = mandragora, rabbit; san d'oria = worm, rabbit. Obviously, the further the level gap, the harder it is to learn, even for a skill that is for your level, if your blue magic skill isn't capped, you will find it hard to learn as well.

I usually go as blu/mage to get extra MP when I am trying to learn, if you have a fully leveled fellowship, having it as Soothing Healer will help too(basically, don't engage and have your NPC heal you when you are yellow HP).

Using Azure Lore(2h) before you kill the monster that just used your skill will also help the learning process, I noticed. But in order to do this, I would suggest doing it just before you sleep, because that's when you would least need to keep your 2hr charged.
