Expansion Questions

Has anyone heard whether the new expansion requires CoP to be installed?

Also, any word on whether the new content, especially the new job classes will all require high level quests to unlock? My main job is only at LV20 at the moment and I'm wondering if it's worth picking up the expansions now or if I'm better off wating till I'm ready to tackle the higher levels.

Hello,

It is my understand that CoP will be required as I believe you access the new areas through zones that were updated with CoP.

As for High levelness, it is also my understanding that the new content is geared primarily towards high level charactors, but there is still going to be content for low and mid level charactors.

I read diffrently, I heard that most of the new expansion will be geared towards mid ranged lvls, high lvls get the better story aspects

You probably do not need CoP to get to the new areas. Since the boat that leaves for the new areas is in Mhuara.

But to get the boat pass, you need to do a quest, so a having a certain lvl willl probably help w/ that quest.

Most of the content is geared for higher lvls. Beseiged is lvl 50 min to participate.
Also the three new jobs wont have a maat fight till later this year. So if you do get the new jobs, you'll need to beat maat w/ an older job to get it to lvl 75.

Oh, the new jobs will probably need a lvl 30 basic job in order to get them anyway. Just like any other adv.job.
