Hey, what's up. just registered. I love the site. just stared ffxi with the 360 beta (transfered to Alexander for final release) and of all the ffxi sites out there this one has helped me the most.

Anyway i had a quick question about the 360 version.

Since i have ffxi and the first 2 expansions already installed, when i buy the final is it going to reinstall those or will it just install the ToA expansion. I'd rather not sit thru 5 hours of installation a second time (damn u slow dsl)

That is an extremely good question. Unfortunately I haven't seen anything that would answer it. I would only assume that you will need to do a complete re-install of the new disks, and then tie them to a new registration code that is not linked to the Beta. Especially since the Beta version of the game did not ask for Credit Card information, and they definately need that from you.

None of this would require a full re-install, but I would guess that you will have to. Unfortunately we will have to wait and see.
