Is Great Axe better for a Warrior at 65+

Ive been using the Dual Wield ability from subbing Ninja to my Warrior ever since lvl 24 and lately ive been told that using a Great Axe would be better then Dual Wielding 2 Hand Axes mainly because Rampage is ok but it does deals unconsistant damage ranging between 200-450, where as if I were to use a Great Axe and with Rushing Rage WS it will do more consistant damage ranging between 400-800 damage nearly 85% of the time. So, should I stop lvling Warrior just to lvl up Great Axe WS, which now more recently people have replied with remarks such as: ><, WTF or other comments like those. And then acting shocked because I have'nt been skilling Great Axe along with Hand Axe as I progressed by level. Or do I just continue only using Hand Axes and the Ninja, Dual Wield ability and not worry about it?

The reason people act like that is because you actually have made a few poor decisions. >_>

NIN sub is downright useless in exp until 48 (when you can dual wield Viking Axes), the only exception is if you're dual tanking with another WAR (post 24). Even if you're with a NIN be a man and take a couple hits as /THF for them to get shadows back up.

Sneak Attack + Sturmwind is crazy awesome, and it's a shame you missed out on those great levels where it is viable to use it.

From 48-60 /NIN pretty much owns /THF, but once you get Raging Rush at 60 /THF can be and is better in certain situations (mobs, overcamping, need SATA, ect).

The reason /NIN is so powerful for WAR is the delay reduction DWII gives you, but you don't even see that until 50, and you don't see the OMGWTFPWN Axes until the 70s. WAR/NIN is a late bloomer, even 55-70 it's kind of "meh" in the big picture (Rampage isn't hawt by any means until you start busting 1k+ in merit parties consistanty).

Should you continue to neglect GAxe? I dunno, are you aspiring to Spirits Within gods? Steel Cyclone is sexy, and when you bust out one for 1.2k (with /THF) on Byakko even the BLMs have to respect you (but it doesn't matter because when you tank and eat back-to-back Fang Rushes from Seriyu they're just gonna laugh at you again).

I saw a similar post on KI, but i agree, /nin pre 48 is good only for tanking, G. Axe is nice btw, go to qufim and start workin on your GA skill, and yes I'd sub NIN, you'll see a huge diff.

On another note war/nin pre 48 should mainly be seen in Prommy pt's
