Gold Ignots for 9k a try...

Yesterday i found that Chakram are made of gold.. i also saw that the NPC sell them for 9k~ at rabao... so i though, "lets give it a try".

Bough 8 Chakrams at AH for 5k each.
Lightday, facing Earth, with a Goldsmith skill (that i have) of 48 + 2 (Adv Support).

Resoults

NQ: Mercury x1
HQ1: Steal Ignot
HQ2: Steal Ignot
HQ3: Gold Ignot (/joy)

Im sure i was 'uber' lucky, but on the 8 tryes, i did pop 1 Gold Ignot. I also have Mog.. Desynthesis and got a total of 0.2 Skill up on one of the Chakrams

Im so happy that with that huge lv gap (cos prolly the desynthesis its the same lv as the synthesis) i got 1. Maybe this could make Goldsmithers 59+ get some money from that big amounts of gil they need to spend to lv up. I wont try again until i get 55 gold + Adv support + Glasses

usually you can get them in bastok for 2-3k (its a quest there) and yeah, i've popped gold quite a few times at 60+1 goldsmithing.
