Well, I would like to ask those of you that might have heard this too.

I have been told on countless occasions that there is a "quest" to obtain a password for the Strange Aperatus, but the password changes at the end of every in game day. Any of this true or is it still not much is known about these things?

Side Note:
I have tried many differnt number combos. Different coding ways, no patterens as of yet.

From the latest news I got, a whole chart has been written about which Asparatus gives what and all...

but info about passwords are still unknown, as to how to get those passwords and what items it'll give if you use it...

here's a chart of the items

Yeha I pretty much know what they give. Done way to many of them. They all seem to have the same items except for the rune items are different in each one.

Was just curious if anything else had come up with the password that I might have missed.

Though thanks for your information, Thats the information I have long ago when I started to do the strange aperatuses. I've been working at them though. See slight pattern on when I get certain items(not sure of this though only done these things like 50 times).

Someday I'm going to have a friend get me a list of the all the number combinations of 0-9, then pick them at random(will take for ever I know adn I will be play FFXI forever too..hehe so it all works out)

This is one of the replies I got posting on another site(Allakhazam).

I did alot of diggin and discovered people who have the password get VERY annoyed when you ask them for it. (2 pages of scolding and calling me a noob. oh well. hopefully i get some rate ups from what i've found)

Ok first, the password is UNIQUE for every player. 2 People have confirmed this.

2nd, I've been told the password is obtainable thru the high lvl Zilhart missions (like 8, 9, or 10 i forget which, amidst his screaming at me he said "They have a significant part in the story line" and "You'll see when you do them")
Appearantly theres no way to obtain the correct password unless you do the missions, since it is unique for each player. However he didn't say EXACTLY how it is discovered.

Finaly what the coveted password does: It keeps your infinity core from being destroyed with each try. Thats it. No choosing your reward, no saving your chips... Only keeping your infinity core intact every time you use it, hense the name INFINITY core. Meh, I guess its not all bad. Its 3-10k saved per try.

As far as I know this information is reliable. (after posting like 7 different question threads on gamesecrets.com one of the admin. people pm'd me and told me all this, as well to "Shut up about it" The same admin person posts 90% of the guides on the FFXI forum and also banned me shortly after.)
Geez some high lvls are so moody its rediculous. I assume thats the same reason nobody has discovered the serious money making gardening recipies yet. The people who use them don't want EVERYBODY using them. =P

Remember, the squeeky wheel gets the grease... Or gets banned from a site their paying for -_-... Either way, I hope my $24.95 banned subscription helps you out in some way. Long live Allakhazam! ~Aet

Finally found something similiar to what I was talking about. Now I have to go about the means of trying this myself.
