Elemental ore?

I have heard elemental ores are a good way to make money and was wondering if anyone could help me learn how to make them. any help would be appreciated.

Elemental ores are "made" by gardening, in FFXI. You can learn how to do this from the Gardening Guide on this site, as well as places like Pikko Pots. Good luck!

If you DO want to garden elemental ores, I recommend making a gardening mule with the best gardening moghancement you can get, and planting 10 saplings. When I try for elemental ores, I feed 2 of the same crystal on that crystal day. So right now I have 10 saplings that I fed 2 fire crystals to, each on firesday. The most ores I've ever gotten from 10 pots was 4, and the least 0. Keep in mind it takes about 4-6 weeks from the day you plant to the day you can harvest, so you have to be sure you can regularly check your plants for that long.

try this plant sapling in brass flowerpot on iceday feed icecrystal on iceday and windsday and harvest on windsday i get 3or4 out of 10 and a boatload of platinum leaves that sell for 1750g each to npc

No, you CANNOT dig elemental ore up by chocobo digging. That information is FALSE.

No, the information is not false. But digging up an elemental ore is extremely rare, and it would be silly to take up chocobo digging just to dig up elemental ores, as they come very infrequently. If you want to make money and have some time to invest, though, by all means, take up chocobo digging! :)
