is this thing really a 1 hr spawn? i've never seen it in under 2 hrs & sometimes not for 4. I widescan every 15 seconds & kill all the rabbits in its spawn area so i think the lottery time frame may be wrong...

think of it as "its window opens in 1 hour", not "its guaranteed to spawn in an hour".

when you kill a rabbit, a mob respawns x mibutes later. when the NM's window is open, it tosses out a random to decide what spawns: random over 900 = JEJ, otherwise just a normal bunny.

Of course it doesnt exactly work like that, but its the best way to explain it :D

Yes this is my understanding as well. It works something like this.

Before a mob spawns theere is a "pool" of possible mobs that will be chosen to spawn. By this i mean if you kill a lizard there may be 5 different potential lizards available in the "pool" to spawn after the timer is up, and they may vary in lvls.

Now let's say a NM (this case jack) dies at 2:35 Reality time in your time zone. Since he is a 1 hour minimum respawn he cannot and will not be entered into the "pool" for another RL hour. No matter how many times you kill a bunny he will not spawn because he is not available to be chosen.

Now after 1 RL hour is up a new "jack" gets put in the mob pool probably with at least 10-15 other rabbits (maybe more). When you kill a bunny one of these rabbits is chosen from the pool and it spawns. If the random bunny picked is Jack.... then he pops and everyone races to eagle eye shot him....... or w/e. If it is *not* jack then he remainms in the pool while another random bunny is added to the pool to replace the one that just spawned. This cycle repeats ad-infinum and eventually he will spawn but its random as to exactly when.

ALSO please note: It is my understanding that Jack is in the same pool that the bats that only spawn at nighttime are in. So when its nighttime in game you not only have the bunnys in the pool with jack but also a buncha bats that can potentially spawn instead of him. This accounts for why people say he spawns only during the day. This is not the case, but with more potential spawns he is much less likely to spawn at night.

Hope that helped.

Spawn effect the same but totaly wrong.

There is only one place holder for the JEJ, if you only kill that mob he will spawn, if you kill any other rabit your wasting your time. If all rabits are up and you widescan the placeholder is the 1st rabit in the list.

As far as making JEJ spawn, it's random after the window opens, with the chance of spawning him greater the longer he is not spawned, back to the 1st post say it's 975 then 950 15 min later and so on. There are lots people know about how the game really works, this form isn't the best place for info like that.

It's nothing like the 1st post.

VE one fly, then VE pop and drop.
LL 6 lizard 4 LL pop no drop.
SS 12 crawler 10 SS pop and one drop.
It's not luck, it's understanding how spawn work.

Thanx for all the replys guys. Just curious if this isn't the place for info like that could someone recommend one? Is there a website that has all that info? I've been searching for placeholder info like how LL's is the last in top group of 5 & VE is 1st in group of 4. It would be nice if there was an NM guide somewhere for all NM's that gives that kind of info. Thank you.
