force feedback in ffxi PC ver.

i just got a xbox 360 controller for windows and i love it works great except for one thing the feedback doesent work. i configured it in the games configuration utility and have tried custom and preset configurations that ffxi provides and still no feed back. i ever tried to use my firestrom controller and dont get any feed back for that either and i could have sworn that that one did get it when i last used it a year ago (recently back for ffxi break) has anyone else had a problem with this and if so how do you fix it? or did ffxi discontinue use of controllers for the pc ver. in the time i've been gone?

i use a ps2 controller on PC and love it just as much as you love the xbox controller, id bet. from what i have gathered (both from my own experience and lookin for answers all across the damn internet) is this sad, sad conclusion: even though that lil box for "force feedback" is precent in the PC vervion's config utility, it just doesnt exist. plain and simple. my only explanation as to why that lil box is even there is that is may have been there in a beta or soemthing and never got removed. yeah, it sucks, but to be totally honest, i dont really miss it that much.. if at all.

Not sure about XBOX controller, but force feedback works for PS2 controller. For PS2 controller you must download a set of drivers. I used it for almost 1 year.

where are these drivers ?? o.0 ones I use have no Force Feedback. :(
