RSE Pattern

I had a thought the other day. What would happen if for example you picked up the magical pattern in the day for an Evlaan Female for example and you were a Hume male and waited to turn it in till your day for RSE to come around. Would that pattern apply for a female Evlaan or a Hume male?

You won't get a pattern in the chest if its not your RSE week. Also you can save up the pattern and trade it whenever you want and you still get your RSE.

If you open the chest when it isn't your specific RSE day, you simply get the normal item the chest carries, instead of the pattern. You can turn the pattern in whenever, and still get your choice of regular RSE applying to your race.
