Ores and Nuggets = ?

I have overheard conversations about there being a paticular chain of events that pretty much assures a crop yield of an elemental ore. I was wondering if anyone knew this off the top of their head and would like to share.

Also, in reguards to nuggets (ex: Platnum), if there was a way to increase the chance of getting that paticualr nugget instead of the other results. I've noticed that crystals more occure on their day, but I'm more worried about getting that cutling and ending up with nothing but Rock Salt... >.<;;

Any help would be nice. Thank you in advance.

I used to go for Tree Saplings using 1 of the many tree cuttings I would farm. It gives purpose to the single Brass Pot I keep in my Mog House. Don't feed it a crystal when the moogle asks. He'll say it's not doing well, but that's ok, just don't feed it a crystal. Be certain to check on it at least twice a day (I always did, not absolutely certain it was necessary, but hey, can't hurt). In about 17 days real world time, you'll get a Tree Sapling.

Don't oversaturate with one element. And don't forget to examine sometimes. And don't miss feeding and harvest on full moon. But there is no guaranteed harvest.
