hello

This question is directed to all the ninja gurus out there.

I have heard before that a ninja should put the lowest delay weapon in his "off" hand. Is this true?
And if so, why?

I am currently using:
Nikkariaoe = damage 19, delay 232, spell interuption rate -25%

Centurion sword = damage 19, delay 225, acuracy +3, attack +4

Does it matter which hand I put these weapons in?

Thanks for the help!! ^^

Your WS damage should be based off your main weapon. So you should put your most damaging weaspon there. Also, remember that Ninja are rated higher in Katana than sword, so the base damage plus your Skill level on your katana will factor into your damage (plus other WS modifiers).

So i would put the katana in your main hand and sword in your offhand (unless you want to do Sword WS). If you're using 2 katana, put the faster one in your offhand. The reason most people do this is because the base damage on these faster katana is usually less than those with longer delay. If i remember right, around 30ish i used Nikkaroie as main, and Fukuro as offhand. The Fukuro had 185 delay (or something like that) but less base damage. If you swapped them around with Fukuro in main hand, most likely you would do less damage on your WS.

Aside from the delay situation, don't ever main hand sword unless you are rdm or pld. Ninja is rated A- in katana and C in sword. While the DMG rating may be the same, your skill cap for each are very different. Swords for dual-wielders are usually used just for Stat enhancement, like cent-sword or bloodsword.

Ditch the sword. Do it now.

If you had 2 katanas tho, put the higher damage one in your main hand.

I have also used a swd in my main hand for stunning dolls that go boom and for diablows, but for everything else sword is just capped too much lower to be worth using (ok maybe for spirits within too, but only if you have a severely gimped bunch of DD'ers that can't do the job).
