X Marks the Spot

Does anyone have any info on this quest? I've gotten to the part where I've traded in the tavnazian sheep liver. I assume the next part takes place in the aqueducts but I would like some idea what to do before I drag a party in there. Thanks.

After giving the Tavnazian Liver to Odeya, you must travel to the "cathedral" on the east side of the top floor of the Phomiuna Aqueducts.

Using this Lonely Vana'diel map, go to point A on the first map, then point D on the second map. Please note that you need a Bronze Key or a thief with tools/keys to open a gate at K-6 on the second map. Climb the stairs at point D to enter the third map, then make your way southwest past two Stegotaurs to the room at J-9. From there, open the north wall (by clicking on a target on a shelf) to reveal a hallway at J-8, then go through the open doorway toward the east to get a cutscene at the Ornate Gate (K-8).

I duo'd this with a friend as THF40 and WHM40. Tauruses and Stegotaurs aggro sight (and have true sight), so you can walk safely behind them if you wait for them to stand still. The only "unpassable" mobs are the ones in the hallway on the top floor (after climbing the ladder, before the J-9 room). The THF aggro'd the two Stegotaurs to let the WHM run past them and then later Raise the THF when the Stegos were facing away. If you try this, be careful of low-HP Fomor aggro if you haven't cleansed yourself of Fomor hate.

Is there a follow-up quest to this one? I finished this the other day. The old lady and the Mithra said something about talking to someone in Sandy Cathedral - Rainemard. I went there and couldnt find him anywhere (even put on widescan to look). Do I have to be further along on CoP to access the next quest or something? I'm on Chapter 5 now.

I was wondering the same thing, and also couldn't find Rainemard in the San d'Oria Cathedral. Potential spoilers below, for people who care a lot about NPC's stories A little research online revealed that Rainemard is the deceased father of Curilla, who gives the RDM AF quests. Level RDM and find out the rest of the story? ;-)
