I have attempted this quest....First i turned in a gorget and a chip, but she just said she lacked the biolumin material and took the gorget and chip anyways.

After talking to her again she said come back when i have found a large supply of bio lumin material. If you keep talking to her she says her bloodsugar is low and an apple pie would really hit the spot. So I gave her an apple pie, no other pies work, and she said the bio matter is from creatures that resemble a jellyfish.

So far i have all 5 organs... xzomit, phuabo, aern, hpemde, yovra. I also have another item.. Luminian tissue. Ive tried trading every combination of gorget chip tissue organs to her and i don't get any response ><~~

My next thought is when i first traded her the gorget and chip she said how she got a shipment of the bio matter from some moblins..... I guess ill go to oldtown moveopolis and poke around.... maybe ill find a npc who can turn the organs into the item shes looking for =\

The Jellyfish she is refering to Spawns at F-12 in Al'Tieu, but its a Notorious Monster that Floats in the Ceiling. It drops down on you for coming into territory surprising.

It has a Additional Affter of Paralyze per every melee hit.

It does charm-ga when its HP is very Low, a Team of 6 Players can kill this fairly easily.

Killed but no drop. Not sure if its 21-24hr pop or 2-4hr pop. But we didn't stick around to find out either.

In the name of BS should be the name of this quest. I've traded him tonnes of stuff 10 organs + tissue and nothing... You get another hint as to what she wants after you have traded a chip+obi/gorget. To get the tip you must trade her a apple pie, but this doesnt help...

You will need to trade a seven (7) of one type of Organ and three (3) of another type. The types are dependant upon when elemental Chip you turned in.

Additionally, you will need to turn in three (3) Tissues if you are doing a Obi or three (3) of the Large Jellyfish organs if you are doing a Gorget.

Hey all yeah I found a jp site with all the info on how to get them. At this point I have earth and ice obi's and I almost have my thunder obi. From what I have seen of them they do exactly as the description says. I will use ice obi as an example.

Wearing Ice obi on Iceday my Bliz 4 would do 1044 damage
Not wearing Ice obi on Ice day my Bliz 4 would do 950 damage. Basically we are looking at a permament 10% damage increase only on icedays.

Now what I noticed after is that this is not 100% accurate. What it appears to be is you dont get the 10% damage per say. What you do get is the ability to always take advantage of the day with your spells. If you cast bliz 4 on iceday with obi you sometimes get 10% extra damage. With the obi on you always get the 10% extra damage. Hope this helps if I find out anything else ill keep you posted.

I hope what Midnight said isn't true. The speculation is that these obi's make it to where you get day effects without it being that day. So one could equip say, an Ice Ring + Ice Obi, and get the Iceday bonus all the time.

My question is would these possibly counteract the negative effects of certain days? We've all casted cure II on darksday and see it only cure for 80+ just cause it's darksday. Would the light obi or ring counter the effect allowing for full cure potency at all times?

What I say is 100% true unfortunately... If you read teh description of the item it does exactly what it says it will do. It doesnt say you always gain the benifit of icedays just that you get full benifits of iceday. Sadly I think we were wishing for more. I have the ice ring and it definately does not work on non icedays even with the obi. It is simple to check this as your mp would be reduced by 15% and your elem skill increased by 15 and neither of these things happened. Sorry to burst your bubble.

This quest write-up has been completed, in the patch compilation section. Thanks for all the info provided so far that made it possible. If any of the write-up is incorrect or not complete, please post here so it can be fixed.

There are still a couple specific questions about this:

-- Which of the Hpemde mobs does the Hpemde Organ drop from, or is it both of them?
-- Is the apple pie step optional, or do you have to do it every time you do the quest?

Thanks again for the help; it'll be a while before I manage to get into that area of the game, so it's a huge help to have info from those who are.

The Hpemde organs Drop from the Hpemde's only.

Apple pie is not needed it just provides insite as to if you need Lumanie Tissue for Obi's or if you need the Giant Jelly fish (forgot names, but the ones in the sky). Also, the required ingredents for the Gorget are different than those from the Belt. For intance the Water Gorget needs 1 Yaura, 5 Hpemde, and 10 Aerns.

Thanks for the info so far; all the details on this quest are just about wrapped up. The quest writeup has been updated again, with the gorgets getting their own section.

There are still three gorgets (Soil, Breeze, and Snow) that don't have organ requirements on them. Any info on those would be helpful.

Also needed is some verification on the use of the elemental gorgets; do they only work on skillchains related to the element that they represent?

Overall, this seems like an interesting type of item and quest addition -- if nothing else, it's something to keep all the people busy who have made their way through the CoP missions, and have nothing better to do...

Still testing the gorgets, but they do enhance weapon skills where the elemental effect is the same as the gorget. For instance if you were to do Impaction, it would be enhanced by the Lighting Gorget. The actual numbers we are stills working on.
