What do you think are the chances that SE one day will add Chocobo Breeding like it was in VII?

If they were to do Chocobo Breading, then they would first have to let you buy our very own chocobo, and not have you rent them all the time. I think they should make it so that you pay some decent but still Expensive amount of gil on buying a chocobo. Then charge you for things like Holding at a stable or Quest for a Chocobo Stall type deal in your Mog House. That would be awesome.

They could also make a boat off to a random island that is the Chocobo race track place where you can earn ranking in Chocobo Racing with that chocobo that you bought.

I don't know maybe it is just me but I think there should definately be more chocobo action in this game. Ya know, something to do when you dont feel like fighting all the time.

God knows how many people would be pulled in by Chocobo Racing.

Actually the concept of buying your ow choco and breeding/raising/racing is totally easy to play off as far as your concern for fees. You need a place to house it and keep it, they ccould play it off as Moogles don't know how to care for Chocos or something like that... Then your turned to the stables who just charge a fee to get your choco and have it return to it's pen once your done riding it.

Let's not forget the breeding of green/blue/black/gold chocobos that can cover different kinds of terrain (black being able to go everywhere). Or Chocobos that can dig with better success rare items. The possibilities are endless. A chocobo that stays when you dismount. The Outposts could be expanded to hold chocobos. Breeding them would probably be equivalent to getting your fully upgraded relic weapon though. The ends would then fit the means. Racing chocobos could be done on a zone that takes you to a different server that is better suited for that type of network play. Gambling on races would also be a neat idea.

I am probably one of those people who would get a fully breeded black chocobo before upgrading a relic. Benefits are just that much better. I could imagine taking a chocobo into Xarcabard, or even better Dynamis.
Jousting could be introduced as an alternative conflict mechanism.
