ffxi.somepage.com Site Security
We have recently had two issues with security on this site, that deserve mention. The first involved a spam link that had been nefariously inserted into one of our news listings, that directed to an unsavory site. The link was removed, and steps have been taken to prevent further attacks of that nature.
We have also had some spam in the comments, from people linking to alleged fishing bots and other such programs, that were designed to steal FFXI accounts. Those comments have been removed, and further effort put into weeding them out if they show up down the road.
We take security seriously, and appreciate everyone who let us know about these issues. If you see any other problems like these, don't hesitate to
leave feedback
letting us know.
In other news, we do have some updates coming that will expand the item database, and add various useful guides. These will arrive in the new year. Happy Holidays!

It\'s great to know that there will be an update to the item database. I just recently realized how much its missing. I love this site because its so much more informative than FFXIclopedia, i just wish that this site had all the items, so its good that this update is happening.

I have been back and forth on my website preferance with ffxi... I used Somepage for the first few years. Your Notorious monster database and beastiary was always my fav of all the sites. Very easy to navigate always had the information on what was dropped how to fight them. wiki was doing okay for a bit but now there site looks just like the front of playonline and half the time i cant find anything of relevence except maybe in forums, which i hate weeding through to find something of signifigance. I hope you guys come back and remind them of how to really provide awesome information surfing to true fans.. I realize you need to pay for your efforts. But if you could put those tribal fusion adds on the side or something would be greatly appreciated. I would even be willing to read them more often if they werent just thrust into my face. Either way I hope your back for good.

I just look forawrd to you guys updating the new area mobs. I use your mob search a lot to figure out off-the-beaten-track camps.
