I hardly doubt SE will in any way lock certain jobs on new expansion, due to simple fact that everyone has to be allowed to play thro it and can\'t be obligated to lvl a certain job just to play the expansion. From my point of view, you will time-travel (sorta) as you are, meaning you take everything you have with you.

Yes. SE purposely made the system the way the did, unlike other MMORPG\'s where your race determines what jobs you can choose, etc. Ampidire is also right about Karuha-Baruha\'s story. Also, AF is important, and I\'m not sure about relic(never been to Dynamis myself), because if you notice in every promotional screenshot, the characters are wearing AF(even in level capped areas, like the sewers next to the Tavnazian Safehold!). :)

I\'m sort of a history buff for Vana\'diel(still have some ways to go), and I\'m really excited about this expansion pack. The last three have been moving foward(except for Zilart, went foward but told the story of the past), but now we get one going backwards into the Great War we hear of so often, but seldom see. I personally want to see how things looked before they got destroyed and to actually see, possibly interact, the famous people who had profiles about them in the Vana\'diel Tribune while it still ran.

Keep in mind they said before the War, probably meaning the brink of war, or as my history teacher calls it, the \"preliminary\" stage of a war, meaning things are starting to go awry. A lot of towns will look different as others mentioned above me, but also that Jeuno will be a small fishing town, like Selbina probably, and not the big city it is today(of course, Kam\'Lanaut and Eald\'narche will look exactly the same, hehe). And, yes, the birth of the Shadow Lord! ^^

Oh, just talking about it is getting me ecstatic! X3 Can\'t wait for more details!

I highly doubt any jobs will be \"locked\" persay... we\'re time traveling back to the past.. so.. we may be out of the \"norm\" but any time traveling thing I\'ve heard of, you don\'t revert to that time\'s standards.. just a thought.. thought I\'d throw it out there.

I hope they throw a couple new jobs at us again.. and I hope it\'s hard like CoP... word.

i hope that u r right about the new area and also hope that they do make hnm more common and sky triggers r/ex. If they do this though everyone would have the top of the line armor and be gods... lmao....

wicked. I always wondered about sarumouge champlaine before it was all blown up. in the video looks like that story is part of this with things hailing down on it like comets. wonder if its gunna be nation on nation pvp cause i knows i got at least 5 bastokers i would love to kill for fun XD

I just sent my mule to sky throught the zilart missions.. I had forgotten, but the zilart missions depicts Saurmouge C. in it\'s before and aftermath of things when \"sky\" was created, as well as, few other areas.
