On this site there are DPS listings for all weapons except H2H why is that? how can you tell what set of knucks is better than another?

more to the point I have Boreas Cesti the dmg 6 delay +48 but has 100% enaero on them. I am now 40 when should I move to another set. I cant find anything that has DPS on what is betetr than what. I guess I am trying to ask will going to some dmg 11 knucks at 40 now out damage the always extra 5-7 enaero from the Boreas. It seems like the boreas still are out damaging the 11 dmg ones. any thoughts?
and why are the knuck\'s delays always +something
my main job is DRG and 2nd mains SAM and WHM. for DRG and SAM weapons the lower the number the faster how does the +whatever factor in for a monk. Is it still the lower the faster?

Hi Lahan,
I am a level 71 Mnk, and I think I can answer some of your questions for you.
With H2H weapons, both the damage and the delay are going to be listed as a +\"something\". The reason being is that H2H have base stats. In other words, both the weapon speed and the damage are added to your H2H. You can walk up to something and hit it with your bare hands if needed.
The reason there are no DPS stats, is largely because of speed. H2H weapon speed is based off of what level monk you are. For example, If someone that was not a monk used a H2H weapon, they would have a base speed of 480. As a level 1 monk, your base weapon speed would be 400. So, if you were a level 1 mnk, and were using an H2H weapon that has +10 dly, you would have a weapon speed of 410. If I used the same weapon with my level 71, my speed would be 330. This is the Martial Arts Trait. For more info on that, check out: http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Martial_Arts and http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Category:Hand-to-Hand.
As a mnk, I dont really pay attention to DPS. There are too many other factors. For example, the extra damage your weapons do are not factored into the DPS. Additionally, I tend to like to use weapons with Acc and attribute enhancements, and I like using weapons with extra features. For example, I love my Shiva\'s claws. They only proc about 10% of the time on ITs, and stick even less often, but when I am farming or just goofing off, they proc much more frequently and stick very well on anything EM or below.
I hope this helps.
